Inter-disciplinary maker and trends writer for a leading Spanish trend observatory specialising in interiors and design
Arantza Vilas’s work moves between art and design, with a strong focus on textiles and fabric distressing technologies. Arantza’s exhibition work has led to commissions in the film and television industries, as well as to collaborations with fashion designer Davina Hawthorne, with Foglizzo leather in Turin and with metal fabricators Based Upon. Arantza also contributes to the Spanish consumer trends journal, Observatories de Tendencies del Habitat. She graduated with a BA in Fine Art Printmaking from Seville, then the MA in Textile Futures at Central Saint Martins (University of the Arts London).
